Cyber Monday TomTom VIA 1535TM. Great little unit, just picked it up today (not on Amazon unfortunately) for $89 and it’s been nice. Updated without a problem, didn’t have any issues using the MyTomTom software or redeeming my lifetime maps code. Only downside has been mentioned before with the mount (not detachable from the unit itself, only windshield mount) but not a huge deal overall. Like the USB car lighter plug as well, definitely going to be useful for the long upcoming trip I’ve got planned.

This is a horrible device. Garmin nüvi 3490LMT. I used Garmin’s merchandise for years and that i never had a drag. Either their software or their maps are faulty. It looks to me that Garmin is making an attempt to form a flowery device and however they’re making unreliable trash. I had to come my older device 3790LMT as a result of it kept freezing (while i used to be driving through NY – we have a tendency to were therefore scared…) My device is merely four days previous and that i cannot use it as a result of it cannot calculate any route from home or to home. i’m receiving a mistake message that my “route can’t be calculated”. My low-cost phone may realize it with no issues. I hope Garmin developers are reading these reviews in order that they will get to figure and issue a replacement firmware or new maps… therefore disappointed. Garmin nüvi 3490LMT. i’m definately returning this unreliable helpful and overpriced product. can purchase another one from Amazon and if the third product is that the same then i’m returning it and switching to Tom Tom.
